Abstract. The author of the review analyses F.I. Nowik’s book about the Soviet policy in German question in the first six years of N.S. Khrushchev’s rule. The author pays special attention to the problems that F.I. Nowik has investigated for the first time: the discussion of the German question at the Conferences of the USSR, the USA, the UK and France in 1954-1955, creation and development of the attitudes of the USSR and West Germany in 1955-1958.
