Abstract. The article analyzes the complex funeral rites of the Zhutovsky Kurgan graves dating back to Late Sarmatian time. The author reveals the characteristic features typical of the aforementioned graves and the interrelations of the ritual tradition with the previous Middle Sarmatian time.
