Abstract. The article analyzes Russia’s experience of learning the innovations by the Russian society in the historical aspect. As a concrete demonstration of such experiences the article studies the balance between changes in Russia in the XVIII-XIX centuries and the forms of the development of the nonstate ownership, and the intellectual industrial property, in particular, the formation of the latter coincides with the rapid period of «capitalization» in the Russian society in the 20th century.
