Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of relations between the State and the Church in Stalingrad eparchy under N.S. Khrushchev (1953–1964). The research is founded on the data of Volgograd Regional Documentation Center of Modern History. The author allocates periods in the Soviet policy towards the church, examines financial position and parochial life of eparchy in the period.
